Being prepared to take care of the little things is as relevant today..
As mundane and boringly tedious as it sounds in this fast moving end product is results worldly thinking of ours take care of the little things. One of the little things are computer files.
Already people are wanting to click away from reading this. Yes there are apps and tools to do this. One moment though. Have you checked how much space that app takes. There is a very basic format to save things too called notepad [ a Microsoft doc]. A one KB page of notes could easily save you nearly 30 kb of data space. Yes the end result does not look as pretty. When you want what was first saved in say a pretty format save it in that format. When resave the original document in a basic format.
When you reload this basic one back into the chosen pretty format you may be amazed at the data actually remembered and now presented.
3 steps to taking care of the little things.
There are three basic files are suggested to be kept. Joe Paterno sums the take care of
the little things systematic approach up with a football quote “The will to win is important, but the will to prepare to win is vital.”
The first is a basic listing of name, URL, Page loading speed, and a very brief synopsis of what that page is about ie the landing page or campaign details
The second is the text copy if the page. Help extremely well when you are reloading the page to a site that has had a mishap and forgotten you data! Although the platform you are using may limit the number of reloaded pages per day that gives you time to interlink or redirect any automatic responders.
The third being a plan copy text once again scrapped from the orginal just published post or page.
To join another two of Joe Paterno’s quotes together … When you “Believe deep down in your heart that you are destined to be great” through the sacrifice of time into time management the belief of “if you do the little things right, the big will take care of themselves” will be apt. Julius Ceasar did not just randomly go up and state… “I came, I saw, I conquered!” There was just a little bit of preparations and backup work involved. Online the basoc rough guide is the 80:20 ratio anything you are doing.
Back up the copies
And of course these files are regularly updated. Stored in the cloud or kept off line. Once compliments the other as each is another for of how you take care of the little things and they will take are of you.
The point is that even if at the time you physically do not have the time to reload the site but, you have over time, spent the time to take care of the litte things that person from places like Fiverr, will more easily be abe to do the job for you. Sure they may charge by the number of pages or post. However the job will have been professionally done. The
choice then would be which of the two choices to make. Pay in your time or pay for their professionalism.
The suggestion would be that when you next approach someone to do something of that magnitude or you … because you take care of the little things like pesty little filing of basic notes along the way you may well be surprised at just how repurposing these actions actually are.
